The 55 ALIVE/Mature Driving Course is designed to meet the specific needs of older drivers. It covers the the normal age-related physical changes that can interfere with driving and ways to compensate for them, normal and hazardous driving situations, defensive driving, rules of the road, driving decisions and license renewal requirements.

Graduates of this State approved course report that they feel more confident about their driving. Research has shown that graduates have a reduction in violations and traffic crashes.
